Exception-word lists are text files named Noise.xxx, where xxx is a three-letter extension that indicates the language of the list. Exception-word lists can be edited with any text-editing program, such as Microsoft WordPad.
When indexing an American English document, Indexing Service ignores the following words, letters, and numbers:
