FETP faculty foster a dynamic, interactive classroom experience, emphasizing student-teacher interaction and group problem-solving exercises. FETP uses a unique "team-teaching" method, according to which foreign and Vietnamese professors work together to design and teach courses. Teaching teams consist of a foreign instructor and Vietnamese co-instructor or a Vietnamese instructor with a foreign instructor serving as curriculum advisor. Teaching assistants, often recently returned from study abroad or in the process of pursuing an advanced degree, provide additional instruction. Teaching team members hold office hours daily to provide students with an opportunity to seek extra help with difficult concepts or exchange ideas on topics of interest. |  |
