The 2017 FUV - YSEALI Summer School sponsored by the U.S. Mission to Vietnam and organized by the Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV) was kickstarted this morning at FUV.
The Summer School is a one week program, from July 24 – 28, 2017, and hosting 60 young students from 18 to 25 years old who are fluent in English, have strong leadership potential, and are passionate about voluntary work and community services. The program’s theme is Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The students will learn and discuss with experts and business founders on topics such as Vietnam’s Economy and the Role of Entrepreneurship in Economic Development; Nurturing Entrepreneurship: Why Institutions Matter; Vietnam: Unleashing Asia’s Next “Dragon”; The Fundraising Puzzle: Investors in Vietnam; Industry-specific Opportunities and Challenges for Firms and Startups; Social Enterprises: Opportunities and Challenges; and Funding for Startups. In addition, the students will also learn soft skills and participate in two field trips to DreamPlex and Intel Vietnam at Saigon High-Tech Park.
