The Fulbright School in Ho Chi Minh City

History

FETP was created in 1994 by the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS), the Vietnam Program at the Harvard Institute for International Development and the University of Economics - Ho Chi Minh City as a pioneer effort in collaborative education in Vietnam. In July 2000, after the dissolution of the Harvard Institute for Development, the Vietnam Program joined the John F. Kennedy School of Government's Center for Business and Government (CBG).

...The Fulbright School com-bines the Kennedy School app-roach to public policy education with a sophisticated knowledge of the Vietnamese economy. I be-lieve it is playing an important role in preparing the next gene-ration of policymakers.
