Mr. Clifford J. Shultz is an instructor for Marketing Places. He received an MA, M. Phil. and Ph.D. from Columbia University, a BA from DePauw University. He has taught at Columbia Business School, the Morrison Institute for Public Policy and the School of Management at Arizona State University, the University of Zagreb, the University of Rijeka and the Ho Chi Minh City College of Marketing. He also has served as a Fulbright Scholar in Croatia.

Mr. Phan Chanh Duong

Mr. Phan Chanh Duong is President of Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone in Ho Chi Minh City. He is instructor in Marketing Places during the spring term. Mr. Duong holds a Bachelor's Degree of Physics in Electronics from Saigon University, Faculty of Science. He is a member of the Economic Consulting Group for the Prime Minister. During the spring term of 2003-2004 academic year Mr. Duong was a Fellow at the Center for Business and Government, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Mr. Bui Van

Mr. Bui Van has a fulltime appointment at FETP. He is the instructor in Principles of Accounting in the summer term. He teaches Financial Analysis in the fall term and Public Finance and Marketing Places in the spring term. Mr. Van has also taught in FETP executive education programs. Mr. Van’s research focuses on barriers to private sector growth at the provincial level. Most recently, he is coauthor of History or Policy: Why Don’t Northern Provinces Grow Faster? He holds an MSc in Public Policy and Business Management from Carnegie Mellon University, USA, and BE from the Transportation University, Hanoi.

Mr. Nguyen Quy Tam

Mr. Nguyen Quy Tam works with the management to oversee translation and interpretation activities at FETP, he regularly interprets in FETP courses, including the Marketing Places in particular since its first launch at FETP. He also works with the Vietnam Program Associate Director on external relations. He is the interpreter cum translator for Case Studies for Policy Analysis in the summer term and the translator for Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Economic Development of East & Southeast Asia: The Old Market Models in the fall term. He was a participant in the Economics for Interpreters course (May-June, 1999) at the FETP. He holds a BA in English from Hanoi's University of Foreign Languages.
